7th Offshore Wind Asia Summit 2024 & Offshore Global Energy Expo
About
CDMC Group is delighted to host the 6th Offshore Wind Asia Summit 2023 (OWA2023) with the support of the Chinese Society of Power Engineering and WFO. This exciting event will take place on November 16-17, 2023, in Shanghai, and we extend a warm welcome to all offshore wind power professionals to join the OWA2023 community! Under the theme of “Focusing on Low-Carbon Going to Deep Sea – Accelerating the Ecological Integration Development of the Asia-Pacific Offshore Wind Energy Industry,” OWA2023 offers a unique opportunity to discuss the latest trends and developments in offshore wind power construction in Asia. Our goal is to broaden our horizons, seek common ground while respecting differences, and foster cooperation with all offshore wind power professionals to build the potential market for offshore wind power in Asia.
In 2023, the development of offshore wind power in each country in Asia is at different stages, and each country and each wind farm will face unique opportunities and challenges in realizing the potential of offshore wind power development. However, the prospects for offshore wind in Asia are enormous, with China, Taiwan, India, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam all actively developing offshore wind energy in their local areas. While the policies of various regions may influence the industry, they also bring new opportunities and challenges to the owners and developers of various wind farms.
The competition for offshore wind farm projects in Vietnam is intense, and the industry’s level of development is uneven. How can we achieve coordinated industry development while recognizing our differences? What are the emerging policies that will shape the offshore wind power market in Japan and South Korea? How can we seize opportunities in the future deep-sea market, particularly in the development of floating wind power technology? As newly installed capacity continues to grow, will the operation and maintenance market emerge?
With these questions in mind, OWA2023 aims to bring together various stakeholders in the offshore wind power industry, including governments, developers, investors, EPC general contractors, design institutes, wind turbine manufacturers, offshore wind power construction installers, and component suppliers. Additionally, the event will provide a platform for wind power personnel from frontier technology providers and other organizations to discuss important topics such as emerging market trends in Asia, policy development, technology advancements, and cost control strategies. The OWA Organizing Committee extends a warm invitation to participate in this significant event, which will contribute to the healthy and rapid growth of offshore wind power. Together, let’s collaborate towards a cleaner and more sustainable future, and build a thriving offshore wind power industry. Join us at OWA2023 to share insights, foster partnerships, and shape the future of offshore wind power.
